Kids in Martial Arts
The students of Tri-State Martial Arts Center
are encouraged to develop a sense of self worth and are shown
through positive re-enforcement and achievable goals how they
can increase their own levels of self-confidence and
self-esteem. Our kids program could also be referred to as
Martial Arts For Life as many of the lessons the students
learn are about life skills - dealing with bullies at school,
peer pressure, saying NO to drugs and keeping a cool head when
things get tough.
In many cases training in Karate or other
Martial Arts can lead to a noticeable change in behavior. The
confidence and discipline you child learns in Karate can help
them perform better at school and at home.
Karate provides a safe environment to learn
about the proper ways to handle problems. Learning to how to
kick and punch is important but it is even more important to
learn when not to kick or punch. Sometime it is better to talk
or just walk away.
