Self-Defense with Martial Arts
Self-defense training is one of the main reasons we choose
martial arts. Often we know someone who has been victimized
or we are the ones who have been victimized.
Safety and Security
Martial arts training such as karate or kickboxing can help
us regain a sense of security and safety as we go about our
daily lives. Through self-defense training we can adopt safer
routines, and develop a safer lifestyle.
Personal Protection
Self-Defense is more than learning a few techniques in a
seminar. The true benefit of self-defense training is in
continuous training to help the behaviors and techniques
become second nature. It is also about learning from
knowledgeable instructors about those things that most impact
our safety.
School Based and On Site
We teach Self-Defense at our school as a part of our Karate
program. Topics vary from session to session and are repeated
throughout the year for skills reinforcement.
